A critical Linux kernel vulnerability (CVE-2026-99999, CVSS score 9.3) was disclosed. Our hosting providers are taking measures to patch their fleets, including systems used by SCNX to offer hosting service. During this process, temporary outages for up to 20 minutes are expected as nodes need to restart to apply this security update.
For infrastructure we maintain ourselves, we'll apply these updates later today, also resulting in a brief downtime of a few minutes.
